Disney World Itinerary Planning

Walt Disney World offers an incredible wealth of rides and shows, so many that it can be overwhelming to start planning a park itinerary. When planning your itinerary, make a list of your must-do rides and attractions, and then know the best times to see them. Walt Disney World is a crowded place most of the year, so having some kind of plan is a must. These resources can help you get started on your Walt Disney World itinerary!

Check out my attractions guides for information on all the attractions in each park, including a description, height requirements, whether the attraction participates in Extra Magic Hours, and the ride’s priority based on its popularity. Many major shows and character meets are also included. Then, you can take a look at my sample itineraries for ideas on how to plan your days, including when to visit the most popular rides, and which rides to choose for FastPasses and when to schedule them. My itineraries also include time for breaks back at the resort. Touring the parks is fun, but can be very tiring, so I recommend taking time to rest. Be sure to also check out some park maps and take a look at park hours and Extra Magic Hours as you plan. As you plan your Disney World itinerary, remember not to overdo it. It’s easy to try to see everything, but it’s unrealistic. There are so many attractions at Walt Disney World that you’ll only see part of it. Decide on what you really want to see, and don’t focus on doing everything. You don’t need to do everything to have a fantastic trip. Happy planning!
